Okay so Im new to this forum. im 15 years old and i only weigh about 105lbs and about 5,5 tall. i feel im kinda skinny, though i try to eat alot per day. i want to try to gain some weight and a bit some muscles through working out

so i recently joined up the weightliftin club with my friends at school and i want to kno how much i should start out lifting with and what kind of stuff i should be doing in there. so if you can recommend some exercises, that would be great. i want to work on everything and i can benchpress 130 max, if that helps.

im deciding to start taking creatine to help with it too, is that recommended?

welcome to the dungeon mate! cosign with bulk, but i'd say between 6-8 meals a day about 2 hours apart. and stick to the basics for lifting.

The other posts covered the diet part. Pretty well. Anyway, if you're looking to put on muscle focus mainly on to bench presses, squats, deadlifts, chin-ups, bent-over rows, and overhead presses (the compund movements because they use multiple muscle groups). You can use other exercises to supplement these, but the ones I mentioned will really put on mass.

As for creatine, I would wait about a year or so. 15 is kinda young to start using creatine But if you do decide to use creatine, make sure that you drink LOTS of water.

Good Luck!

Creatine is fine for him to use at 15 as long as he understands that creatine is not a miracle drug and won't spontaniously make him spew up new muscle.

yeh i know creatine wont help me with the muscle gaining but i just thought it would help speed it up a bit along with hardwork.
i have a question about creatine too, do i need to drink it right away after mixing or can i mix it then drink it in about 30minutes later (shaking it again)?

Creatine will help you in the process of gaining muscle, it pulls more water into your muscles, some places i've read said it creates a more anabolic enviornment.

You can really have creatine any time of the day that you want as long as you gain it. Some people take it pre and post workout for two different reasons.

1. Preworkout ingestors believe that the creatine will digest and be used for energy in stead of the creatine in their muscles.

2. Post workout creatine intake will be accompanied along with a quick digesting carb so it would be rushed into the muscle.

But I just take it whenever I can.
