you would certainly need more time to recover. 1 day is not enough unless your seriously into steroids which you shouldnt be.
you'd need at least 3-4 hell maybe even 5 if your tricep workout was as hard as you say it was. hell, ive had pre-workout soreness for 7-9 days a lot of times on bodyparts.

im sorry for yet another question but, if my triceps arent sore the next day, can i do chest? and even if they're not sore, theyre still growing, so if i do chest the next day, will my triceps not reach its maximum growth for the workout the day b4.. sorry if this is too long or doesnt make sense =/

it doesnt even make sense to do triceps before chest, turn it around and do chest first and triceps a few days later so we all can breathe and relax, then you will grow! okay? dont burn out a secondary muscle before you do your primary muscle group it makes absolutely no sense!!!!!!!! kinda like Mygeeto!...LOLj/k

You really need to listen to your body mate. Thats where you will find the best answer. I dont understand why you want to work it the day after though? Give yourself a day off then work a different body part maybe then you can come back to it.

triceps should be able to be worked 3 days after chest. Try working them the same day as chest, after chest.

Why don't you just stick to a basic training program.
Monday: Chest, shoulders, triceps
Wednesday: Back, biceps
Friday: Legs, calfs, abs

You post so many questions. I think you are over complicating things.

The only time I would do triceps before chest is if you are focusing on bringing up some lagging triceps. My pecs have always responded well, but my triceps were a little hesitant to grow, so I tried triceps before chest and was able to improve my tris without hurting my chest development. I would not however do chest the day after tris. When I did this I had 72hrs of time between tris and chest. Again like I said if your not working on improving proportion or bringing up some lagging triceps I see no point in your routine split.

Also why are you too weak for dumbells. Most gyms have a range of dumbells from light to heavy. If you are wobbling you just need to practice more.
