Hey,

I am new to the forum and I was wondering if you could advise me on a few things...

At what age do you think it is safe to start body building, I've started doing a bit more and I'm only 14 years old. Is this too young?

This is what I do:

2 * 10 Bicep Curl/Hammer Curl
2 * 10 Tricep exc. - not sure what its called, put weights on shoulder and push up, its sort of difficult to explain
2 * 10 Lateral raise
2 * 10 Shoulder Press
2 * 10 Uptight Row

I use the same amount of weight for all of them - 9KG

Is this too much? Or what exercises to you guys recommend?

nothing to worry about man. with that routine, you will be laying the foundation for more serious bodybuilding. oh and if you can lateral raise 9kg, you might want to up the weight on your shoulder press

i personally stick to 3 sets of15 reps untill ur 15 years old then 8-10 reps but with a few more exercises until your 16 then u should be able to do anything u want. really just depends on when u grow and how much u still have to grow but when ur 16 u should be fine to da heavy lifting
