changing my split to make better gains

ever since i started training seriously and eating a very good diet...i have been training two muscle groups a day, i got some good benefits from this, but in the last two months i've been training one group a day and training 5-6 days a week..
im thinking that i should put a weaker muscle group on the first or second day...so im not as worn down..does anyone think this is a smart idea?

if you dont get what i mean by weaker...im talking my chest and biceps...those two are not as strong as i would like them to be

my split is chest and tri's......back and shoulders.....leg's and bi's and seriously dude the 3 day split has gotten me big as hell. i've gained 8lbs in a month

i think mixing legs with another muscle may not be a good idea...same with back

actually, when you are doing back or legs, your body produces more testosterone naturally and also more growth hormone so it stimulates growth of smaller weaker muscle groups...thus why i train back n shoulders and legs and biceps.

ripped, are you only training 3 days a week or are you repeating it so you are actually training 6 days

just 3 days a week. i was training 5 days a week one body part a day for months. when my body got acclomated to that split i dropped it down to the 3 day split focusing on 2 muscle groups per day and blasting the shit outta them. the rest i get lets my body get some much needed r&r on my "off" days although i normally just ride the bike on those days.

i got to workout more than 3x a week tho...im young and i got way too much energy and all to be in the gym only 3x a week...so i can do the 3 day split...then rest a day...do it again...that might be alot

do a 4 day split 2 on 1 off 2 on 1 off.

Day 1 Chest
Day 2 Legs/Bi's
Day 3 Rest
Day 4 Shoulders/Tri's
Day 5 Back/Calves
Day 6 Rest
Day 7 repeat Day 1

Just cus you have energy doesnt mean anything rest is one of the most important things when it comes to muscle growth.
