Figured i'd let you guys know of my intense training session today, figured i'd go for the shock method to really give my body a wake up. Normally Monday would be my chest/tri day, but unfortunatly it wasn't. My cousin (Mr. Perfect) came over and told me, "Brett, you're getting your ass to the gym, we got some training to do." Luckily i just had my meal an hour and a half previous to the interruption. So I took my protein, half hour later to let the rest of my food digest i took a couple scoops of NO Xplode and headed out to the gym.

My cousin regret to inform me that the gym closes at 6:00pm... we left for the gym at 4:30pm. Finally got into the gym and after getting there, changing, and everything else, we basically had alittle over an hour for typically a hour an a half workout. We did high intensity the entire time and rest breaks were minimal...

Flat bench: 14 (warmup), 12, 10, 8...@ 155(warmup), 205, 225, 245
Incline Bench DB Flyes: 12, 10, 8...@ (lb db) 55, 60, 65
Weighted Dips: 14 (warmup), 12, 10, 8...@ weight attached 45, 55, 65, 75
Close Grip bench: 12, 10, 8...@ 155, 175, 195
Cable Flyes: 12, 10, 8...@ 165, 175, 185
Skull Crushers: 12, 10, 8...@ 85, 95, 105

*Rest break was maybe a minute or two, some were alittle longer between each set (unfortunately never was consistent about it due to being rushed). Got out of the gym, when they were locking the door.

Figured i'd tell you guys what was up tonight, i got one of the best burns ever, and now hours after the fact i'm laying on my couch exhausted still. Love it... what i thought was going to be a bad workout turned out to be just what i needed for my body, cant wait for leg day tomorrow.

Tuesday, leg day Tuesday, my fault. Monday (today) i'm using as a conditioning day... walking on a treadmill for 45 mins, stairs at my old High School stadium for about a half hour. Then calling it a day after that.
