Hey guys, I just finished my workout. (Which today was Chest then Abs then Triceps - in that order) and I have noticed a re-curring probelm with most of my workouts.

I notice that by the end of the workouts I can barley lift anything! I did my chest workout today, then went onto my abs and because I'd been using my tris in the chest workout I could hardly pay any attentuon to my REAL triceps excerises.

I think if it goes on like this my tricpes are never going to get a full heavy workout because my arms are so exahusted I can't lift enough to make any significant differance.

Is it good to be training chest with tris on the same day? Should I switch the day? Am I just a weakling?

Please help!

Many thanks,

From Alex :)

Its personal preference. I train tri's on shoulder day.

Think about what you're saying - you're worried that your tri's can't get a full heavy workout because they're already too exhausted from your chest workout. The chest workout IS a triceps workout.

If you're still newish to training, you mightn't even need specific triceps work yet. Or if you feel that you absolutely must do it, you can either lower the volume on chest day or train them on a different day.

As suggested tri's on shoulder day works well.
