Keep track of your measurements, weight, body part measurements, and body fat. Then you will have numbers to reference.

reference is the key in figuring out what your ability and visual aids you can use. freaks right, keep track of everything in a notebook strictly dedicated for training, also throw in there your diet and plans as well.

also check out mypyramid.gov and list the food and supplements your taking and it will tell you if you are eating balanced meals and so on and so forth. i definitely agree with both posts above as well ^^^^^^^^^^^ i have friends around your size that are really really defined. it's all about bulking then cutting, and doing it healthy. crash dieting and shit will only come back to bite you in the ass.

bulk then cut not the other way around. Eat a max of 2g of protein per bodyweight and 4g carbs per bodyweight. Multiply your weight x 20 and thats how many calories you need to bulk: add more if you have a high metabolism. Eat lean meats and fishes. Grains; whole wheat, rice (brown), potatoes...and thats right--vegetables
