Pound out as many reps as you can then knock off about 30% and pound out as many reps as you can.

Next workout try to get more reps with your working weight.

well said monkey... drop sets should reduce the weight about 20-30% or drop to a weight you can get just about 6-8 reps at. that's the ideal goal to achieve when using these.

I prefer to keep the weight the same or even increase it and start working push presses.

^^True sir. I like to pyramid up in push movements because pressing movements like military press build mass and increase strength on most movements in a similar fashion.

i kinda know what you mean... you have a goal of a certain number of reps you want to hit for that set and you use drop sets to achieve those reps...

i did that on squats once... 1 set 100 reps. started at 135 and i think i ended with 45 lbs... my legs were deaaaadddd!!!

Drop sets on military presses are brutal!! I go with a weight I can only do about 8 reps with, then take off about 25%. Rep till failure, knock off more weight, then do it again....pain.
