Evening. Most people puke in the morning. You will be better nourished in the evening.

^^Cosign. Your body will need time to prepare for the work it has ahead. Cardio in the morning is, IMO better on a semi-empty stomach. But not a serious workout. Carbs are the fuel.

I run in the morning and lift after work. Running in the AM (esp. intervals) will stim. metabolism and I find myself hungry throughout the day vice stuffing myself to get required calories/prot. In the eve. I lift. If I run in the evening, I find I have trouble going to sleep.

actually the morning is better b/c your testosterone levels are higher (this is why you get "morning wood") in the morning and you benefit from not being stressed out from a long day.

evening no doubt..think about it. if you have one meal (your breakfast) when you wake up and then a couple of hours later you workout your muscles will use the breakfast as the one energy source compared to a whole day of meals if you workout in the evening, your body will be fueled with a whole day worth of nutrients and glycogen. But then again you will have very few meals to recover from your workout if you eat in the evening. You decide
