Ok some I'm going to be in college and I'm also a wrestler. My coach said that they want me to get to a solid 250 and be a Heavyweight. I'm around 210 at the moment. I've been lifting for 4 years now and have already gone from 160 to where I am now. I just turned 18 and am 6'2". Any tips, ideas, or anything of the like would be appreciated. Keep in mind that speed is something I have at the upper weights and I need to increase my strength and keep it functional. Thanks.

Check out HIIT programs. Look up Mark Dugale or Mike Mentzer's programs. You'll gain size and maintain speed.

Think he meant HIT(high intensity training) since he keeps talking about Doggcrapp training.

if you want to increase speed and stamina you could also do sprints and suicides and squating helps on your speed a lot. and to gain weight just eat a lot of protein and complex carbs
you went from 160 to 210 thats good hardwork you should be able to reach your new goal.

So I've looked at HIT and it seems like a bodybuilder workout. I've read about functional strength and when I played football we did a lot of low rep, high weight basic lifts. Squat, Bench, Power cleans, etc. But we also added smaller lifts, curls, tricep press, military, etc. How do I use a HIT program for wrestling? If you guys could help me make one that would be sweet. I also need to incorporate power cleans or jerks into the program. Thanks.
