I have pretty decent abbs. and work on them fairly regulary.
i canot yet see the ring circling the abbs, around them.
are there any specific excersizes just for the ring around them?

What do you mean? I'm not too sure what you're referring to, but if I think I know what you mean I would suggest hanging side leg raises. Also try swiss ball transfers with a partner.
Ball Pikes might do it. There really good for you core. Get in push up position with your feet up on a workout ball. Keep your legs straight and push your ass way up in the air. It kills and you really have to work at it before you can do alot.
