alright im 18 and i have been between 180 and 185 for a year now and it seems like i cant put on weight.i work out one body part a day for about and hour and i do sets of 8..6..4 for everything and other weeks i do 14..12..10 i work out 5 times a week and eat alot aswell and i eat the right stuff i cant take stuff like drinks because of health problems i want to know the best way to gain mass and stay toned because i only get cut and never gain mass

eat salmon and steak and alot of pasta, if you dont gain lean mass your just not pushing yourself as hard as you think you are

try and be more specific about how you train, how you eat, sleeps, rest, supplements etc etc and detail why you believe you cannot take shakes etc for health reasons.
The good people on here are very knowledgable and will be only too happy to give you advice to the best of their ability mate.

i have a kiddney disease called polycistic kiddney disease(PKD) which means my kiddneys can not flush out stuff like the drinks and pills like normal people (told by doctors) if i start to take all the drinks and stuff my kiddneys could shut down or i could get stuff like kiddney stones and stuff like that so im left eating nomal food .. also is there a place where i could go to get a all around good work out for what i want ?and i have always been told to eaT EAT eat to gain weight does that mean eat anything in sight even junk food since i am young or just healthy stuff like pasta's and steak? thanks to everyone helping me out here this site rocks..

keep you're food healty. things like tuna, chicken, pasta, rice, cottage chees, oatmeal, brinta, eggs (white) and nuts are good things to eat.
once a week you can eat junk food np with that.

Just stay away from processed food. Eat 20 cals per # of bodyweight. 1-1.5 gram of protein per # of bodyweight, 2 grams of carbs per # of bodyweight and .5 of fat.

UNPROCESSED FOOD. That means any ready made preprepared throw it in the microwave shite is a no-no.




Tuna is always good.

Does yor doc know,what your tryin to do?
Personaly I don`t have a lot of faith in the medical proffesion,but I don`t know yor doctor.I don`t know maybe he/she could help.
Or at least let you know what would be bad for your condition...like I said I don`t have much luv for docs but sometimes they know what thier talkin about.
