Anyone on here think that there is any difference between doing kickbacks on a cable machine versus doing them with a dumbell. I know that free weight will use stablizing muscles too so any info will be greatly appreciated

Yeah man, well you just said it... Doing it in free weights involves muscles that help stabilize your form.

kickbacks aren't the best tricep exercise. stick to close grip bench, dips, skullcrushers. obviuosly if they work good for you stick to them

Thanks guys, I was just wondering if there was a big difference. Usually for tri's i do
Close Grip Bench
Skull Crushers
One Arm Dumbell Extension
Push downs w/ V-bar
Kickbacks

You guys think i should tweak that at all?

i think you should only do 3 exercises, 5 is too much for a small muscle group like triceps. 3 sets each
