Hello everyone. I don’t really make many posts on this forum, but I have a couple questions.

Age: 19
Weight: 12.2 stone, 170 lbs (I think)
BF%: I’m not sure, but when I last had it done it was classed as just overweight
Training Experience: joined the gym around April, working mostly on arms + shoulders.
Diet: cutting down on calories and fat.

Ok basically, I wouldn’t say I look overly fat, but I have the ‘beer belly’ style fat. And my chest could do with loosing a bit of fat.

I want to loose the fat. and I want to work on my stomach whilst doing it.

For the last month and a bit I have been using the treadmill for 30mins (a fast walk, heart rate around 140) and then around about 30 mins on a bike (heart rate around 140). Before that I was just doing random bits of cardio.

I want to start doing sit-ups daily at home, as I don’t always have the time to go to the gym.

Since I’ve been going to the gym, I have gotten thinner, but not really very quickly. I have started eating much more sensibly, no take away food, and much less alcohol. Why aren’t I seeing more improvement?

Can anyone recommend a good fat loss supplement to help me along the way.
Also, how can i loose fat quicker, any recommendation for diet change + exercise.

Thank you in advance.
Venney
:)

Ok, I eat quiet a lot of bread (sandwiches), pasta, pizza, milk, meat, special K. That sort of stuff. I’ve pretty much cut out all snacks. So, no crisps or takeaways.

That sort of thing helpful?

Yeah,,, your going to need to cut all that stuff out if you want to loose weight.

I need to do some research in the nutrition section, this section has been update with Alot of great detailed information on what foods to consume.

You also need to know what your caloric intake is for the day. Your 170 lbs. There are BMR calculators, in the dungeon.

Find your baseline caloric intake. reduce it by 250 to start then 500. And add cardo to burn 500 off.. 1 lb of fat is 3500 calories. Reduce your caloric intake by 500, burn 500, 500 X 7 days is 3500 calores or 1 lb.. 2 lbs of body weight per week is a safe amount to loose. You also need to consume 1 gallon of water daily,, without fail.. Water is the key to weight loss.

Chris

Or even Hot Rox, but that's a little strong. Stick to Lipo6 for now.
