I have a nice trick for these kind of situations. When ever I feel tired and sloppy, I underestimate the upcomming workout. I tell myself "This is NOT going to go well, this workout will probably be lousy as hell!" and so on... Then, when I finally arrive to the gym, do my warm up sets, and get ready for the first set - "BOOM!". My mindset completely change and I have the best workout ever. Its all about manipulating your thoughts to the better. My mom says Im always thinking negative. But what she doesnt understand is that its all a part of making things better in the end. Theres not a single workout I really look forward to. Because if I do and my expectations are skyrocket, you best belivie my workout will be one sad session and I will just feel misserable. Thats whats happens when you overrate yourself.
As a serious bodybuilder you gotta be preapared for a lot of things to go wrong. Each day, lower your expectations and dont take things for granted. By doing so you will manage difficult obstacles/situations much better and you will be better as a person.
Thats my tip of the day. :)
