I'm now doing ass to grass squats instead of just squating till I think I went down far enough. I started really light 135/155/175/175 with 10 slow and deep reps I dont care if I'm not squating as much as I use to I want to do these right so I'm starting over.

sounds good, glad your starting light, its an entirely different workout, one of those where you come into the gym jacked up, do your sets and then end up peeling over the squat rack breathing heavy...hahaha good lifting bro, ass to the grass

yea I was able to get the reps easy but I've never been this soar in my life......wow....lol I love it.

you really get shredded doing it as well, working calves, hams, quads, hip flexor...your entire lower body just gets tore up, also try barbell lunges after...really does a number on you

I'll give that a go, I superseted the leg extension and leg curl machine right after .....I cant walk upstairs today.

try squating with a flat bench or something behind you so you can get an understanding of how low your getting. Try a form of box squats, touch the bench with your ass, pause (while elevated), then back up.

My legs really respond well to low weight high reps, which i did this past week on thursday. Today my entire day was shot because I can still barely walk around. I got literally nothing done cause I didn't even want to walk down the stairs from my apartment to the car!

Sounds like a good leg day to me. If you want a good leg workout, after you do all of that, do two foot box jumps onto a 24 inch box.
