that amount of rest should be ok. if your aching as much it could be becasue you'v been on the same training programme for a long time. try changing the exercises, reps and sets to see if you get a good ache the next day

you should not go 5 days straight unless your on juice do a 2 day on 1 day off routine with a 4 day split so you go 2 on 1 off 2 on 1 off repeat.

for maximum mass gain and strength, your muscles need the rest, so my suggestion is work mon-back, tues, chest-tri, wed, legs, off thurs, fri, shoulder-bi...off sat...make sure your doing cardio as well, alot of bb's make the mistake of not doing cardio, in order to really increase your muscle mass you need to incorporate cardio into your daily wo's...say do a solid 15 mins (thanks lbj) before your wo

It seems to me that your body has grown accustomed to your training cycle. Keep the body always guessing, mix things up. I'm typically only sore whenever I change up my training regimen every 2-3 weeks. However, if you are changing things around, make sure your lifting to your full potential in the gym. I am always tired the morning after any workout - always leave the gym and know you worked out 110%.

Hey Kirklab,

Can you help explain why 15 min. of cardio a day will increase overall muscle mass?

yea doing diffrent excersises you have never done before really hits the muscles making the muscle feal like its on fire and being pulverized with a hammer. But ya gotta work hard or you'll either get fat or skinny and neither is good.
