Do you guys include serious compund movements to your workouts, such as: Deadlifts, Clean and jerk, Squats, Romanian Deadlifts, and the traditional bench press? What kind of results do you get from these? I personally do all, except cleans... and I've seen awsome results.

yes, they are a must in order to gain mass. you cant do isolation movements and expect to get alot bigger. compound movements will do this for you

I do heavy deads, leg presses and the power hack squat and as heavy as I can go on bench presses.. I do work in cleans for a total body workout..

you have to incorporate these movements into your routine or you wont get very far bro..

If you are not used to them in your routine,, try doing cleans alone,, see how your body feels a day after and then adjust your workout routine to include them in..

Dont just shoot from the hip bro, be safe and train smart

Yes I think this should be the foundation of a body building routine. I remember in 2002 I started getting into competing in powerlifting and introduced these exercises to routine. I started doing cleans and presses for shoulders and noticed that within a moths time I had gone up 15 lbs in my dumbel inclines.

Then I introduced deadlifts and noticed overal body and stregnth improvement and then started doing heavier squats and heavier rows. Man I was kicking myself for not doing this earlier when I first started working out.

I cant really get into detail because of forum rules but I just took the name of my company and added team because with out that there would be no company.

i do the clean jerk and press. i do it with shoulders. i love this workout. sometimes ill just do the jerk and press tho. depending on how tired my back is already. otherwise i usually do them all sometimes i take deadlifts out. usually a month or so before a tournament.
