ive been doing split training for a long time now...and i havent hardly gotten any gains. i dont really think im overtraining because i end up doing less sets than half the routines i see on here

i always see people saying that all the famous bbers got the way they did by doing split...but they also werent natural

i used to do full body routine workouts and it seems like it works better for me..despite what some people think is it a good idea to switch back to full body routine?

also where can i find out my body fat %

well i work on some body parts more than others like my tri's and bi's and shoulders because of football if you really want to see improvement work tout based on how you feel man and go heavy to gain muscle mass remember to do cardio it helps all the time if you feel like working on your biceps for example eat alot of protein before work outs ( not too much because too much protein turns into extra body fat we dont want that now do we. )then workout your bi's and maybe shoulders also make sure you dont get to focused on one body part then when you feel like wow my bi's and shoulders ( depending on what body part you choose)
are going t explode and you think that you really worked hard and that you are ready for your cardio after your done lifting weights i choose after i lift weight you can do it before too but you can also do it before and after workouts then if you want you can eat more protein ( creatine ) 2 cans of tuna is also good i used to eat this before i was able to lift weights.
so yea man you can just go with the flow and always let your muscle relax and grow never over train instead of getting bigger and stronger your gonna get smaller and weaker by over training and not letting your muscles relax.
When your bulking up and when you see alot of improvement you are ready to start cutting your weight.

I do full body routines and have found them to be far more effective than split routines.
Every now and then I switch to a upper body lower body routine but normally switch back to full body after a few weeks.
I started off with a split routine copying the pros and made very little gains.

Stick to the big compound exercises and train hard and get in plenty of food.

just stick to what feels best for you, try a full body for a bit and see if you make any gains. Also you say you have made hardly any gains doing split training - my guess to the reason fot this is because your diet isn't right. You should be seeing gains if everything is spot on

im thinking its my workout routine because ive tried changing my diet a few diff ways and didnt see much of a difference

i have a really high metabolism and have never been fat, its just that last couple of months i havent hardly seen any gains, and if i ever do get to the point where i need to cut it would be really easy for me

as far as diet goes i've tried the best and worst of both areas....ive tried eating multiple clean meals per day

and ive also done the fatty foods meals and neither one seems to be putting weight on me

-i know this question goes in nutrition but since im already on here, if im already skinny and trying to put on just pure mass( i can get rid of fat really easy ) , should i still be trying to eat 6 meals a day even though my metabolism is already real high?

thx for ur help guys

If your metabolism is high it is because you are very active. Or your metabolism is normal and you are not eating as much as you think you are.
People do not have high or low metabolism because they are someway special.
Try to count how many calories you eat each day to establish how much you eat to maintain your bodyweight then increase it slightly until your weight starts to go up.
Milk is good for adding calories or try a weight gain supplement. Nlarge by prolab is good and not that expensive.

As for your training try full body workouts as you say you made progress with them before. Focus on the compound exercises like bench press, dips, pull ups, squat, deadlift.

The exercises to put the most effort in are the squat and the deadlift. They are the hardest exercises and also the ones which give the best results.
