whats a good number of reps to set for each exercise??
im currently bulking trying to gain some mass
i do sets of 8 but thinking 6 works..i dunno..should i be struggling to do my last rep on every set???
For larger muscle groups like legs, chest, back and shoulder 9-12 is plenty
For smaller muscle groups like tris, bis, calves, traps 6 is plenty
And yes you do want to be struggling on your last rep whilst maintaining strict form. keeping good form is the key to muscle growth, not pushing as much weight as possible with poor form
