Did you try to change your stance? Maybe hacksquat with a narrow stance.

^^Cosign. Try front raises with many reps for 3 - 4 sets with medium weight. It'll help flare the quads and using moderate weight will help keep stress away from the knees. Post a routine so we can help more.

ohh something i rarely do, but is really good for feeling a burn, is after all your leg work, do a set or two of hanging leg raises for the abs.
feel the base of your quads (where it connects to the torso) burn like a hot ****

one way my quads responded well was doing the following

5 sets of barbell squats

4 sets of leg presses with a drop set..il drop about half the weight..usually i will peel off like 4-5 plates a side..then just rep out the remainding weight till i cant anymore...that gives the legs a reall burn

then i finish off with 4 sets of leg extentions...

once im finished i have a pump for the next few hrs..and my legs have responded well.

maybe that will help...im not saying try my routine..but sometimes shocking the legs with high repititions will get you some more growth

It's hard to judge the problem unless you post a routine.

You don't need any fancy routines. Just prioritise leg training. Focus on improving your squats. For the rest of your body just keep the same weights unless they feel easy then increase a little but your focus should be adding weight to your squats.

front squats, front squats and more front squats. Go really heavy on these and you'll have big quads in no time. Also do them first in your workout
