decline bench press

do u guys rkn its necessary to do decline bench press.

at present in my routine, i do flat and incline bench and dumbell bench. i also do flyes and cable crossovers.

apprently a decline works the lower pec, is that true ?

i personally wouldn't bother with them. Flat presses sufficently hit the middle & lwer pecs imo. For instance do you ever hear of anyone with lacking lower chest?

decline presses are usuless for your chest, there was a thread a couple of weeks ago that explained why it was useless. Try and look for it but you cant, trust me its useless

Not necessary for people who say it builds the bottom of the chest is not doing dips and probably has high body fat

i do them once in awhile just for a change of scenery and on a light day...never incorporate them into my daily routine tho, find them pointless

yeah thats cool Kirklab. I will do them on a hi rep day which is rare just o keep stimulation but like you, never in normal routines.

nice, when you do dips try and lean forward a little. This gets the blood in my lower pecks quick.

The only thing decline is good for is showing off because your range of motion is limited so you can put more weight on. But flat will work the exact same.
