Whats the use of putting plates on with the weight or brand facing the lifter? I thought it was for ease of use getting the plates back off?

I put the first plate with the numbers facing in, the rest with the numbers facing out. I do this just for neatness and ease of counting.

hahahahahaha...I'm laughin' like hell.....cause at the gym I'm trainin' now the plates have no numbers on them so I don't know were the front is...they just have a very small colored line on them on one of the sides(example:blue for 15kg)...But to me it doesn't matter on what side they are as long as the plares are heavy
