Does anyone ever get more sore in the forearms than their biceps, or feel like you are gripping harder than you are squeezing your bis? I never really get a good pump in my bis doing any exercise but seated incline curls, but I can't focus on one exercise. Would straps be a good idea because I do have some. Any input would help.
Thanks!

Straps for training biceps? Um no. If your grip is not giving out do not use straps.

Just keep hitting it bro. Your forearms and grip is not up to par with your biceps so it feels like most of the effort is going into your grip. Its going to take some time to streghnthen it.

I dont know about that. Some pros even use strap to train bi's Bob Chicherillo swears by it. If you have a weak grip and are not getting in a proper bicep workout because the grip is failing then I would say use the straps. However after you are done working out your bi's hit you forearms. Also you might want to purchase some grippers that way you can increase your grip strength outside of the gym as well.

Are u maybe bending the wrists back while training bis? This can put additional stress on the forearms. I think that I have prorportionally weaker forearms than biceps, but its no problem as long as I keep my wrists steady throughout the curl, or what ever biceps exercise u are doing..

I have the same problem, but I don't believe in training forearms separately (or anything for that matter). I like big multi joint freeweight exercises (when possible). So weak parts can catch up. Right now my forearms burn more than my bi's but when they catch up my bi's will take more of the work.

Your grip strength should be alot stronger. What are you shrugging with free weight? And are you working bicep with back?

I stopped working biceps with back and I felt much better.

Don't mistake a lack of wrist strength for a lack of grip strength. Forearm pain during curls tends to me more to do with weak wrists than weak fingers.

Straps will not help, but wrist wraps might be of some use until you can bring your wrist strength into line. If it were me, I'd be adding some wrist curls, reverse wrist curls and plate curls on a separate day of the week.

Thanks for the tips guys. These are really gonna help with the training of biceps. I hit them tonight so I will give what you all suggested a shot.
I appreciate it!
