Ok, so since summer has started ive been hitting the gym full force, Im not trying to add on a lot of mass at once, but more than anything cut up and get a little more lean mass during the process, my split is like this

-Heavy-

M - Chest/Tris
T - Back/Bis
W - Legs

-Light-

R - Chest/Tris
F - Back/Bis

S/Su - Off

I routinely do cardio for an hour 3-4 times a week burning around 600-700 calories and my diet usually consists of 5 meals all being extremely healthy and lean, Post workout I do drink Mass XXX, but, are there any flaws here that just standout and/or anythings i should incorporate ??

Thanks a lot for the help guys

Weres your shoulder workout? Plus your working things twice in the same week 5 days in a row...thats a big no no unless your on some juice. I'd say make a 4 day split work 2 off 1 work 2 off 1 work 2 off one get my drift?

Oh right sorry, I do shoulders with legs, well, what kind of split would you recommend that would be more optimum for muscle building and cutting up??

Well the thing with Muscle building/cutting up at the same time is it takes ALOT longer to build muscle this way then to just bulk for a couple of months then do a cut. My routine now looks like this.

Day 1. Chest/Abs
Day 2. Legs/Bi's (I do Bi's on Leg day b/c I get to work them more this way, there not fatigued from the back workout.)
Day 3. OFF
Day 4. Shoulder/Tri's
Day 5. Back/Calves/Abs
Day 6. OFF

Then repeat.

Nah just this routine for most of my heavy exercises for upper body I go 10/10/8/8 for reps or 10/8/8 depending on if I do 4 sets or 3. The routine before this I was doing 12/10/10/8 or 12/10/10 and my next routine will probly be a lower rep one with 8/8/6/6. No need to do a light and heavy workout let your body rest, rest is just as important as protein YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST LET YOUR MUSCLES REST for them to grow.

try just lifting heavy and with alot of intensity every time. instead of light and heavy days. just wreck yourself on the actuall lifting days. that way you get full intensity no matter what.
