I am just starting out again after 13 years of not lifting and i am kind of rusty. Just wanted some advice from the pro's. My motivation for this is I am going on a cruise in 3 months and in my 13 years of not lifting i have gained a spare tire. The rest of my body still looks pretty good. I have just gone out and bought creadrive and megawhey from GNC. Here is my thoughts of what I am going to do and if it sounds good then please let me know if it doesn't also let me know.

Cereal for breakfest 9am
grilled chicken and salad 2pm
creadrive at about 6pm
run about 1.4 miles 6:30pm
lift for an hour
take another glass of creadrive plus a glass of megawhey after i am done

He said he was running 1.4 miles at 6:30 pm and then lift for an hour...
I'm pretty sure doing cardio b4 you workout isn't going to burn as much fat as doing it after you lift, because all your burning is what you just ate for your pre-wo meal...

Cereal for breakfest 9am
You need something with protein here. And not just milk. Throw in a few egg whites.
grilled chicken and salad 2pm
Good. But your going 5 hours without eating so you need something at around 12. Even if its just a glass of skim milk.
creadrive at about 6pm
Creadrive has 33 of its 34 carbs from sugar. I would think that this will negatively effect your running. You also need protein here.
run about 1.4 miles 6:30pm
lift for an hour

I'll reply to this on the bottom.
take another glass of creadrive plus a glass of megawhey after i am done
Your taking in too much creatine. 10 grams a day is too much. You should cut out the glass before your workout and put in some wheat bread in.

If your trying to bulk running is only really good to keep your cardiovascular system up. You need a few more meals after you get home as well. You should eat every 2-3 hours at least. You also shouldn't run then workout, you'll wind up using energy that your gonna need to lift.

He needs to build smart and intuitive excercise habbits now that will continue over to when he is older. Training smart now will help him in the future. No one should mislead him into the wrong stuff.

I'm not saying that anyone is or will. But its better if he gets used to the bump and grind of regular work, right now.
