bro, if you want to workout join a gym or find a way to lift.

don't join a sport like football if you dont truly love it and want to play. i played in hs and college, and the only way you will make it through a season is if you truly love it and love showing up everyday for practice. its a tough sport, let alone if you dont want to be there.

I agree, I also played football in hs and college, and no offense bro but I wouldnt have wanted anyone on my team that didnt truly love the sport and wanted to be there every day. The workouts are totally different than bb workouts, idk why you would want to join for the workouts anyway, sometimes they can be a total b*tch. Like during two a days in college when you had to lift weights (complete with power clings and squats etc..) after 2 and a half hours of practice...

^^+1 bro.

i'm sure you like the sport, but there is a different between liking and PLAYING. i'm not telling you not to play but be ready for hell if you dont truly love it. and yes bb workouts are no where near football workouts. i have never seen a bb'er do a power clean HAHA.

i wouldnt want him on the team either. lets start a dungeon team. i call tailback haha

what pos you play?

If you are good and actually start you probably won't have very good team chemistry.

If you don't start.. then you get to workout and be on the team but most people go out because they like to play.

football was a huge part of my life, and still is. it taught me fundamental lessons about dedication, hardwork and sacrifice. without football, i wouldn't be the person i am today. i owe my character and toughness to football.

it's good to get involved in school sports, for the camaraderie and of course the training and fun.

but don't join unless your dedicated. if not you'll probably just hate it or end up gettin hurt.
