I am unfortunently currently on my first ever cut..and I have came a long way..I've lost 31 pounds and 9% bodyfat since I've started cutting, unfortunently I've got a long way to go to reach my goal ( went from 230 ibs--199 ibs and from 26% bf to 17% bf) My goal is to get to 10-12% bf.. I wanna first say thanks to those of you on the dungeon that have taken their time to help me out..

Now I have a question..

While training today and almost everyday lately but today especially, (it was a leg day)..after almost every set I was light headed and just totally felt like shit, after every 15-20 rep set of front squats or hack squats I felt light headed and just like I had nothing..I felt like I was in hell, I never quit or let up or lost intensity I just kept going until I was done, didn't even skip cardio . My question is this, was how I felt today normal while cutting? Just so you guys know I cycle my carb days from high to low, 2-3 high carb days and 3-4 low carb days a week, as you might have guessed today was a low carb day ( pre-workout meal was 6 egg whites and I tbsn of natural peanut butter) (I cut the oatmeal out today..), I'm guessing this is why I felt like shit but idk...I was just wandering if this is normal and if anyone else has felt like this while training..and again thanks alot guys

Feeling like crap with low carbs is normal. Good job on pushing through it. It's just a mind game.

yeah man, i cycle 3-4 weeks with carbs then 2 wks off (bringing them back in gradually) and stay around 8-11% bf, and by that second week i feel like crap, ive found drinking lots of water helps...

dude..working out nearly every day...specially when cutting carbs is NO GOOD you need ur rest days or the weight you lose will be muscle mass...try on your rest days as in non work out days - you need 3 of them per week..no carbs and on workout days eat oatmeal during the day befor workout...

I have one or two rest days per week, and I position them so it doesn't seem like i'm beating my head against a wall, not enough?? If I took 3 days off a week I'd feel like a lazy ass..and aren't you supposed to do cardio on your off days?

ken's right....rest days rest, otherwise all this hard work and muscle that you're putting on will vanish!!! rest days just rest, otherwise you're overtraining and overexerting, riskin some injury as well...
