I ride an Eliptical rider for 30 to 45 minutes in the a.m. usually 30 at night do it again for 45 minutes,, I currently cutting down also,, I took my total caloric intake for the day I'm m slowly subtracting 250 calories from my diet and doing 30 to 45 minutes of cardo a day for 5 days a week.. The most i will remove from my daily intake is 500.. in combination with my cardo and light weights and high reps,, between 20 and 25 reps is considered high,, dropping 2 lbs a week is a good safe weight to loose weekly.. Any movement that you can sustain for 30 minutes can be considered cardo, i.e breaking a sweat,, or elevating your heart beat to a safe rate..

Good to see you have determination

I wouldn't worry about your fat intake too much. Most trainers/nutritionists recommend a healthy 20-30% of your daily calorie intake to be fats (of course, healthy choices like olive oil,not pork rinds!).

There is no magical exercise or formula to burn fat. Your body will decide. At the end of the day, if you are using up more calories (due to metabolism & exercise) than you are consuming, you will lose weight. How much is fat and how much is muscle is what makes it a bit tricky.

I know you want to lose the fat fast but it's a much better idea to pump iron NOW, add cardio LATER. It really is not worth it, you'll look like a skeleton (I know I did )

I'd recommend you start your calories at a good maintenance level (search around for calculators or if you know yourself that well, even better!) and keep the exercise at a minimum to begin with (weight training only). Stay at your maintenance for a couple of weeks, then slowly lower your calories and increase the cardio. Do this until you achieve your required results!

Good luck with it matey. I wish you all the best.
