I'm trying to bulk up this summer. When I go to the gym and do my thing, for each new muscle group that I work, I would do a set or 2 of a light warm up. Is this good enough? How does you guys warm-up? Do any of you run on the tredmill for a few minutes?

i find a do have a better workout if i get the blood flowing round the body before picking up the weights, try the bike for 5 - 10 mins. gets the blood flowing from the legs all way through ur body, but main thing is you aint feelin exhausted before weights.

i usually do what you do picabloo. depending on what exercise im starting out on i will either do 1 or 2 sets warmup. For exercises such as squats or deadlifts i would usually do a 2 set warmup as it involves a lot of muscle groups, but when i train biceps i feel that 1 warmup set is sufficient as it is only a small muscle group. However, some people do like run or go on the bike for 5 mins before lifting, its just personal choice. But as you are trying to bulk up you don't want to overdo the cardio.
