For everyone who has a split where they work thier bis and tri together I was wondering if you superset everything toghether that day, and if that is the most effective in getting bigger arms?

I do this same split, and personally I only have one superset in my routine. I just keep the rest really low in between sets and hit it hard. I get a really good pump and have seen some good results with it, and by the time I do hit that superset it leaves my arms totally drained and pumped. For tris I do tricep bench, dips, and skullcrushers and for bis I do seated preachers, dumbbell curls, standing cable curls, and superset one arm dumbbell preachers with straight bar...Keeping the rest between 30-45 seconds in between sets, Does this answer your question? Hope it helps

I also train my bis and tris on the same day bt ive found that if i superset my whole routine my arms arnt as tired and as pumped. I only have one superset in my routine and its right at the end to destroy my arms completely.

I superset everything and take a 1-2 minute break between sets and drink plenty of water during the breaks. Works for me, really gives my muscles a pounding.

i normally do tri's first than bi's, cuz i like to feel the pump in my bi's with my hand on the way down to the locker rooms. lol ---> not important

just make sure you do your little warm up (1-2 sets) then do your mass excersizes then your shaping than your burn out. works for me

i do 9 sets of bi's and 9 sets of tri's on arm day. some ppl may think thats to much, but i like doing a excersize from all three (mass, shaping, burn out) therefore 3 sets of 3 movements

MGs question was to The Gift, I think.

Mass = compound movements - usually first in the muscle group routine.
Shaping = concentration movements - isolates a particular muscle within the group
Burn out = any excercise (but usally a concentration movement) with slightly lower weight, or descending weights, to failure - The muscle should feel as though it can no longer move any weight at completion.
