My typical work out week is day 1 Chest w/ tris, day 2 back w/ bis, day 3 shoulders, day 4 legs, off, off, start over. I have been getting great results but mostly in strength and not size so much. My main question is would it be better to split up chest/tris back/bis to chest, back and bis/tris. I heard this would be better to get bigger arms. I am curious to see what a normal week looks like for you guys as far as what day is what and when your days off are. Also if one week is heavy then the next light, and the best route to getting big.

Currently 5'11 167
Bench-240
Squat- 280

Keep your reps between 6 and 12.

Personally I like the split: chest & back, bi's & tris..mainly for a couple reasons. One being that everytime I got done doing a hard chest workout my tris were already pre-exhausted and it would hurt me in my tri workout, now I can come in the gym on a seperate day and hit my tris HARD fresh, i'm currently cutting right now so I can't tell you if it's helped me as far as strength gains, but I feel I get a much better workout and a better pump as apposed to doing them with chest..
