negatives are very good... dont do them with calf exersizes or you will find it EXTREMLY difficult to talk for a week afterwards

Good but could quickly lead to over training. People tend to use them for chin ups as you can do this with out a spotter you just need a platform to stand on.

so just do really heavy weight, and do negatives? it sounds easy... and negatives are a lot easier then the opposite, pushing out... so i dunno i wasn't sure if easier meant more effective lol, because it usually doesnt

da fact that they are easier, but still work the shit outs the muscles, is why u gotta be careful when doing them.

They are worth doing after a set. For example if you are going for 3 reps and you know you can't get the third you control the negative movement and then let the spotter(s) help you up.

negatives can be as important, or more important, than the actually positive part of the lift. i think they are great for exercises like pull ups where u can lower yourself down
