Why should i train these muscles with higher reps .. they are like any muscle group .. they have the same structures .. Is there a reason about that .. it's possible to train them with low reps like 8 or even 6 ?

well calves are really easy to get stong so you do less weight and more reps. All you really want to do is tone em. And unless you compete no reason for big forearms. Beating off should have them strong enough.

You shouldn't train these with higher reps:) I train calves with low reps 4-10, abs I go a little higher, and forearms gets enough training when doing heavy deadlifts and so on.

What do you mean by "tone them"?

wut i ment is that with abs u shouldnt train them to b big so lets say not for example 12-8 reps instead shoot for higher reps no more lets say 20 reps cuz u wanna do quality but if u wanna train them with medim reps to make them big or low reps to make them strong thats up to u

your abs will not grow as big as the other muscles.
If your abs are big then you don't need a very low BF% to get a visible 6pack.

Muscle fiber ratios:

Calf muscles
-soleus (90% slow twitch)
-Gastrocnemius (50/50 fast/slow)

Forearm muscles
-Flexor Carpi ulnaris, extensor Pollicis Brevis, extensor Carpi ulnaris, extensor digitorum, extensor carpi radialis brevis, flexor carpi ulnaris, Palmaris longus, flexor carpi radialis, abductor pollicis longus

all of these are almost entirely slow twitch. Therefore, forearms and calves respond extremely well to high reps. I go heavy with both of these often, but the majority of training for these parts should be high high reps until you have to drop the weight from the pump.

Abs should be trained heavy, they wont grow too big like JB said, but having muscle there is a huge advantage.

I dont care what lee priest says, you should train every body part. Yes forearms have faster recovery ability.

It's only an advantage to have a strong midsection. Train your abs :)

Right on brother. Its sad, bodybuilding is the only sport where chances are professionals know very little what they're talking about. I admire pro bodybuilders for their physiques, not their knowledge.
