Actually I woke up at 7:30 and started working out at 8:00.

I didn't eat anything except for dinner the night before, at least 12 hours earlier.

...in Pumping Iron, Arnold said he would often workout to the point of vomitting....


On a side note, during my senior year of HS Football, i used to Vomit every game during halftime and sometimes after the game...

...players would ask my why, i'd say, "if you have to ask, you're not playing hard enough"

You need to have a meal like 2-3 hours before the workout and about 20-30 minutes before have some carbs like a banana or two.

Working out in the morning means you have no time for a meal but you could still get in some carbs before the workout.

Try eating something just before you go to bed so you don't go so long without food.
