Lat Pulldown and Forearms Giving Out

Hey guys. I was wondering if this happened to anyone else. My training partner and i were doing back tonight and one excercise was lat pulldown. Well our forearms gave out well before our backs, any advice, does this happen to you guys?

Is this why some ppl. use lifting straps on lat pulldown?

You might want to use lifting straps when you go heavier. But you should try not to use them for everything. Your forearm strength will build up, but if you use straps for everything then they won't build up.

Probably. If your grip is giving out before your lats give out then its your grip strength.

are u leaning back slightly when ur pulling down? that way, there should be more focus on the lats.

I used to have the same problem on back day. My grip would give long before I was done burning the back. Since I work forearms on Shoulder day, I where straps on back day. I can go heavier, longer, and the grip doesn't give before the back starts screamin'.

I had the same problem but I found the answer in high volume masturbating. Here is what you do, call in sick to work/school for a couple of days and wait for your wife/parents to go to work. You will need a bottle of Jergens hand creme (or your favourite brand), a box of Tissue (or an old gym sock), and access to the internet, then you proceed to spend the day crankin the protein out of your system via the main vein. After day 1 your forearm will feel like its on fire but you have to continue for at least another 2 days. When all is said and done your forearms will look like Lee Preists, and Lat pulldowns should be a problem of the past.
