I wanna hear you guys opinion on training abs?

According to a interview in flex Dexter Jackson said he has never trained abs before and just started doing them! Are ab workouts really nescessary? I mean, they will always show if your BF is low enough, no point in making them huge, right? I'm asking you this 'cause I hate training abs, it's the only bodypart that doesn't show on me :(

when doing other movements your abs get worked somewhat.. but then again Dexter is a genetic freak... id do abs 2-3 times a week.. as your abs recorver quickly

best movement for abs is hangin leg raises.... do this on the pullup machine... its pretty hard the first time you try it but you will get better at it.

Thanx, but I was not asking how to train abs, I know that already :) I'm asking if training abs is necsessary?!? They show anyway, men your bodyfat is low enough. Long, small abs are better looking than big-box-abs if you know what I mean.

I don't work my abs... But training your abs, will make them more visible when having a little higher bodyfat...

By the way the number one exercise for your abs is dragon flags, that is a true killer...

Yes you should definately train your abs, my favories are the kneeling rope crunches.

one of my favorit is machine leg raises and decline roman chair sit ups......i foucus on trianing my abs when i do cuting cuz the lower the body fat the more visible they will b

i train mine once or twice a week. i dont have a set training routine for them. i might throw in 3 or 4 sets after a workout or in between sets.

Rope crunches 3 x a week usually.
Sometimes I throw in some regular crunches at the end of a workout,specialy if I might be showinin em that day!

Rope crunches are my fav also, 2 times a week is a good amount.

I love my abs. I train them 7 days a week. They are long and rock solid. If you don't train them they kinda have a flabby look if your skinny enough for them to show. I do 30 minutes of abs a day. Also 30 minutes of cardio a day. Nothing makes em show better.
