for width I do pullups .. unilateral pulldowns .. close grip low pully row and pullover and for thickness i do a lot of deadlifts and Barbell rows .. dumbells row and machines row

most of the back exercises with a wide grip
yeah chins are good
so are front pulldowns and behind the neck pulldowns

doing wide grip does'nt give you wide lats...
lots of heavy deadlifts and barbel rows..

Then what will it do... If your lats grow they grow in wide and thickness, so yes they will be wider...

i think deadlifts r for thickness but for lat width is pullups and pulldowns to the front...
