I posted once before explaining my situation, but I'd like to hear new suggestions and recommendations. I don't want to hear I can't.

Age: 18
Weight: 160-165 lbs.
Height: 5'11/6 ft.
Diet: Fairly good, but I know what it takes to bulk up (egg whites, fish, oatmeal, chicken, steak, etc.)
Problems: I'm limited in that I can't use my right arm/shoulder while working out. There is basically no muscle in there and none can develope. Some of my chest near my right shoulder won't develope muscle either. I might be able to use to guide it along with my other arm, but I can't put any heavy pressure on it. Maybe 5 pounds at most. However, my left arm/shoulder, most of my chest, abs, legs and everything else are available.
Goals: A nice body; good abs, a fairly big arm (left arm obviously), and a good overall health.
Concerns:
- Is it possible to achieve my goals with my problems?
- What exercises are recommended over others?
- I'm worried if I'm only work out my left arm/shoulder, it will get disproportionate and cause problems. Is this true? I'm assuming it is, so with this in mind, what should I do? I want my left arm/shoulder to get big since it can.

Right now, my left arm/shoulder are normal size. My right arm/shoulder is very thin, weak, and fragile. I must avoid using it when it comes to heavy lifting. I'm skinny but I do have some ads (my abs are bairly visible, but if I work them out, I'm positive they will show).

I signed up for the gym a few hours ago and I need to know what to do. I plan on gaining around 15-20 pounds and during that time I want to find a good workout routine.

If you havent ever trained before and are looking for a routine to get yourself started, you should start with the basics and get to know your body before you jump into a complicated routine. Squats shouldn't affect your arm or shoulder and is a great mass builder and will strengthen up your core. One arm Deadlifts with a dumbell, as your right arm might not be able to hold the weight, if you cant go heavy enough with one arm try using a strap. For a better idea on training you should talk to Layne Norton in the natural bodybuilding section of this website. As far as the right side of your upper body you can always try resistance training with...well resistance bands (basically a glorified rubber band) a very light weight but it might help to tone that side of your body without exerting a lot of pressure. Finally, although I'm sure I'll get blasted for even mentioning this, but if your worried about proportion for aesthetic reasons and training has no effect on your right side then Synthol might be the only option, but I would not recomend this at all as it has absoloutly no benefit to your body.

Thanks for you're help. I don't think I will be taking any substances.

I also forgot to mention that my range of motion is very limited.

The range of motion for your right arm? If so the resistance band might help, I had limited range of motion when I seperated my shoulder and my physiotherapist had me using one, it helped a lot.

Yes, the range of motion on my right arm. When I went through physical therapy, I used those bands a lot. They helped immensely, but in time I stopped using it. From that point, my arm pretty much stayed the same, went through different stages of pain, and ultimately (right now), it's not in that good of condition. My range of motion has been the worst it's ever been.

I will use those resistance bands for my right arm to improve the condition of my arm (if that's even possible), but I'm more concerned about getting the rest of my body built.
