Hey, Im new to this forum.

Does someone have a good cardio program for fat burning to recomend?

And can you risk loss of muscle mass if you workout longer than 45 minutes a day?

Thanks

1) if you need to do cardio, do it on days your not lifting

2) diet will determin how much you gain or lose.. if you dont get in enough calories to support growth then your body will only grow on what you are putting into it

3) as for cardio programs.. meh here at the dungeon i dont think anyone gives a shit about cardio..30 minutes to an hour of swimming, boxing or bike ridding is about all most of us do, aside form the sports we play on the side.. we fully beleive that diet is the key to fat loss/muscle gain, and it really is.

just out of curiosity how long have you been lifting weights for seriously and what does your split look like?

I train 6 days a week so that means i only can do cardio once a week?

A normal week would look like this:
Day 1 - back, biceps
Day 2 - legs
Day 3 - chest, shoulders, triceps
Day 4 - back, biceps
Day 5 - legs
Day 6 - chest, shoulders, triceps
Day 7 - off

Works nice for me. Increase weighs almost every week.
Have been lifting weighs for about 3 months. Dont remember accualy.

If you want some serious gains then push yourself so hard that you can only train each bodypart once a week, muscle needs time to recover fully to make progress. I used to do the 6 day program and gains were minimal, 4 days should be all you need and throw in one day of just cardio if your so inclined. But Mygeeto hit it on the nose, if your main goal is getting into shape diet is the key.
