Rest pause is great for development in the chest, i need some development in the upper chest and i want to know if you can do rest pause with dumbells.

rest/pause is bringing the weight slowly down to you chest stopping 1 inch from touching it holding a few seconds with the weight suspended then pressing. while doing this you're pushing your chest out and flaring your arms to your sides to work the chest more.

resting at the top of the movement is a better idea, rep to near failure then lock ur elbows out and rest there for a bit then eek out another rep or 2 etc, u can customise by resting as long or short as u need....and yes dumbells are fine to use
