okay I am currently on three day full body routine. While it is good, I am wondering if a five day split might be better. The split would look something like this:

Monday - Chest
Tuesday - Back
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Shoulders
Friday - Arms

The main goal being hypertrophy. I would need to think what exercises i would select but that is probably how i would split it. If anyone has any suggests or thoughts or has used a routine like this would appreciate comments. Thanks

Try a 4 day split, because going from a 3 day to a 5 could be rough.
Day 1- Chest/Shoulders
Day 2- Back
Day 3- Off
Day 4- Legs
Day 5- Arms
Day 6/7- Off

Unless you think you are ready to get into a five day routine, work yourself up to it over time.

That is not a bad idea. Although I dont think any work out can be more tiring than a proper full body routine. I was doing a four day lower/upper split before the 3 day full body routine and found i got good results.

So you dont think it is a bad idea to try for a five day split?

I think what i am really beginning to realise is how important food is. The more training that is done (upto a point) requires more food to be eaten but will see better results.
