i have seen ronnie benching in his dvds .. i noticed that he is doing partial reps alot .. may be all his sets... and he has also great chest .. can somebody clarify that to me..

he does bench matter a fact he does incline, decline, and flat bench press. He does half reps to keep the pressure on his chest muscles. He goes as far as he needs to, it's actually harder if u don't lock ur elbows because of the pressure. You don't get to relax.

but that shortens the range of motion

I already answered it though...? Freak genetics, 20 years in the gym, lots of gear. He can get away with half-reps, and besides, like another guy mentioned, not locking out does keep the tension on the pecs the entire time.

i think duration of bodybuilding doesnt matter .. how much you put in it is what makes you grow bigger. for example have you seen ronnies first training video ,, his chest was great ,, and he was also doing partials in bench press

doing partials is harder then going all the way up i mean ronnie goes up almost all the way up but stops before his elbows lock.

ok ibut i have read from 2 days ago that ronnie will give attention to locking out movement in his workout to have more definitions .. that was from his gym owner metro.,...
