i was in training the other day and i watched the other people training in there . i started thinking why does everyone in there insist on training there biceps for 2hours with a unlimted amount of sets and do the same with every muscle group and they never eat ennough calories to grow and stil think in 6 months they will be 60lbs heavier than they are.

when i train for 45 mins to an hour with enough sets so i dont overtrain and eat stict they laugh at me and think that i will never grow.
that pisses me off so bad.

they are all uninformed and you are not...I see the same dumb asses doing 2 hour tricep workouts all the time or 2 hour bench press..they are all skinny and weak and they are quick to want to give advice...ignore them and keep doin ur thing and get big and strong..

yeah i know those types, i have two in my gym..they think they are the GOAT, beleive me they walk around with thier arms wide appart (almost like a crucifix) they think thier lats are that big. they spend an eternity on the bench press and shoulder press but have nothing to show for it, yet like you said they are definatly fast to give out advice.

Because they've read the 'latest' article in Flex, which is word for word the same article they've printed a dozen times in the last twenty years, and are convinced they'll look just like Arnie/Dorian/Wheeler/Shaun Ray/Ronnie/Jay/Flavour-of-the-month if they do as many sets and spend as many hours a day as the magazine says.

If the magazine articles - which publish several full routines every month - actually worked for everyone, why would you ever need to buy more than 2 or 3 in a lifetime? They make their money off of suckers like those guys who don't grow much and figure they need to buy this month's mag for the newer, improved versions

lol,

so true.

makes me think of my gym. I think its the same everywhere mate. Ugly lateral side raise/heaves for shoulders/calves and low back, endless bicep curls that are 10 kgs too heavy and those whom practically live on the bench press doing approximately 1 set of 15 of the same weight of the last 15 months, every 15 minutes. Why dont they just sit at home on the couch instead, it would near match their training intensity anyway ?

Dont despair as we're the ones that get and will continue to get results and they the ones that continue to live small due to their ignorance in training approach.

As for them, let them do their 57 sets of bicep curls and 301 sets of bench press to put on their "10 kgs of muscle, upper body only"

You'll be laughing when you're the one lifting heavy and packing on the mass to show for it.

Because they are the same idiots who think that more is better. I do a total of 8 sets for biceps, sometimes 6 sets.

The most important group if I had to pick just one would be the legs. Too many people do not work them because: 1. leg day really hurts. 2. nobody sees nor notices legs.
