I'd have to disagree....In "The Comeback (Total Rebuild)," Arnold advocates the use of Jim Beam as a supplement.....just kidding....If you are training like a pro (gear, etc.), I'd say you'd be a fool if you drink alcohol. If you are training recreationally, I'd say go ahead, have a lite beer or two every now and then. Ultimately, alcohol will never help you in your goals but could always play a role in fucking them up....so always keep that in the back of your head when you go off for your weekly bender...At this point in life, I only have about an average of 1-2 beers every other week (which is down from my previous intake of 30-50 drinks/week). All good things must come to an end... |
