ok heres my problem im not gaining any muscle i work my but off in the gym 3 days a week "mon, wed, fri" but im getting no were so i did some research and i find out im overtraing but not in my workout its my sport wrestling..my muscles are getting no time to recover. and i have wrestling practice everyday for 3 hours so i need some kind of supplement that can restore my muscles in the quickest amount of time, Before wrestling started i was gaining about 10 pounds to my bench every month now im getting no were and i cant just not wrestle its what i love to do... this is what i take now i take 60 grams of protien and a tea spoon of creatine after a work out and thats all. this is what i was told to try see what you think.. n.o explode before a work out then 60 grams of protein and a two tea spoons of pure creatine then after wrestling practice take a protein shake about 40 grams with a tea spoon of glutamine... so what do you guys think about that routine or is there any other supplement i should get to help me with my problem. i dont no if this will help but here are some facts about me im 17 and weigh 235 bench 275, squat 365, clean 305 last year i was gaining 25 pounds to all my max's every month and all i used was creatine a 6 week on and 4 week off routine now that routine is not working so i really need help i can barley get a 10 pound gain on my maxs...

You are correct m8, the inclkusion of your lifts was not benificial to answering the question (but hey, i guess we all need to try and "big ourselves up" now and again) . So onto your question, the wrestling practice, 3 hours a day will kill you for the gym (i imagine it to be very intense, not sure of these kind of practices, i'm from the UK, not much wrestling). The supplements you are taking seem good, especially the glutamine (this is the supplement that you are asking about, it "restores" your muscles in the fastest amount of time), which i would have reccomended if you were not already supplementing with it, but it's the whole foods that need to take priority, especially complex carbs in your case, to give you a supply of energr throughout the week. You could try supplementing with ATP, this may be benificial, but at the end of the day, i would almost guarantee that it is the whole foods that may be a problem here. Is your diet in check bud?

i belive so i have 2 packs of oat meal, 3 eggs and sausge for breakfest "7:00" i have two roastbeef sandwitchs and a pack of bbq baked lays for lunch "12:00" and two chicken breast and two baked potatos for dinner"8:00" and i usually have a protein bar after practice witch is "6:00" so you think that the n.o explode before a work out and 60 grams of protein and a two tea spoons of pure creatine after my work out. then 40 grams with a tea spoon of glutamine after wrestling will work?

m8=mate.

To be honest it's natural to get slower gains eventually. You won't always get the same amount of gains week to week.

What are you doing during your workout routine and what are you doing for your wrestling training?

I think NO products do that, im not to sure because I haven't taken any myself.

You probably aren't over training, are you losing muscle mass? Losing strength? Wrestling might be holding you back in your muscle gains, training with alot of aerobic style stuff counteracts the effects of weight lifting. If you need a little more energy during a workout you might consider taking your post workout shake, half way into your workout.

If your mantaining weight then try for a bulking diet. What kind of diet do you have currently? How many calories, grams of protein, fat and carbs do you intake?
