yeah, thats, fine, but squats are the better exercise, switching up from week to week isn't a bad idea though. Plus, if i were you, i'd do the squats/leg press straight after the leg extensions. Then you will have more energy and strength to lift heavier which will equal bigger muscle. Actually, i would switch up the whole way you are training legs, but that is not your question, so, there ya go, hope that has helped m8.

Switching is fine imo but if I was to pick between the two I would do squats.

Other exercises I like for legs are hack squats and one leg squats.

Id suggest to always do squats, and alternate with front or back squats rather than alternating it with leg press as it has less value to your leg training then the squat.

Do both in most workouts, but focus on squats rather than devote time between them evenly.

I find supersetting squats with leg press can be extremely challenging and excellent for thigh development. Caution - remember to breathe thoroughly if you want to try this one ! Or you will pop a blood vessel lol.

i would say both but if i had to choose...i would say leg press.i'm not a big fan of the squat but i do them cuz i have to.also the leg press allows you to have great form without having to worry about it too much...but that's my opinion and i'm still learning!

Agreed. You can go extremely heavy on leg press, and go to near or total muscle failure, but how many guys do you see actually do it to their capacity ?
