I dunno i never tried it personally, I cant completly figure it whats the difference between that kind of training of normal training.

The best thing about it is people take basic heavy compound exercises, train them frequently, use progressive overload trying to beat the log book every time, and in turn they get stronger. I dont train like it exactly, but i use a lot of principles, its general take home message is excellent.
