I am presently weighing in at 278 lbs. My goal is to get around 225-235 lbs. I have dropped 18 lbs. since the first week of July 2006. I have been out of the gym for about three years and finally realized that it was time to get back in there. My question for you guys is this, Should I try to drop the weight first and then get into training, or continue to do both at the same time?

hey bro
to really put a huge dint in weight lose you need to lift weights.. when you build muscle mas,. the muscle will born a lot of calories throught out the day..

cardio only burns calories when you doing it..

diet and eating right is the key.. eating small meals throught out the day. keeps your body on a straight line. you you wont get too hungry or too full.

you need all three to have a succesfuly and healthy weight lose.

good luck
