I recently had an appointment with a personal trainer at my gym just to get some professional advice on my current training program.

He decided to give me a new workout program which I didn’t mind since I have stuck to mine for far too long. My only problem was that he put chest and back together. I was always taught to keep body parts like Chest and Triceps together and Back and Biceps together as they work both during the training session. Plus also I was told never to train two large muscle groups together. I just wanted other opinions on this.

I only want to make sure that I’m not wasting my time at the gym.

Thanks

Matt

You can change it up, dont always stick to the combinations. I train my shoulders with my legs and train my chest with my forearms. It makes the bulking process more interesting for myself.

from what ive heard u should never put back and biceps together
as back workouts also works out ur biceps so that means u would probly be overworking the bicep muscles....
